Who can volunteer?

Anyone can volunteer for this activity.

What will I do during this activity?

You will learn how to sort waste at home using colour coded bins. You will set up your own home recycling station and upload a photograph of it to Team Everest.

What types of waste will I learn to sort?

You will learn how to sort wet waste, dry recyclable waste, non-recyclable waste, and more. We will also teach you how to handle everyday items like food delivery packaging, newspapers, and glass.

Do I need any prior experience?

No prior experience is needed. Team Everest will guide you through an online orientation and share a detailed handbook before you begin.

Do I need to buy bins for this activity?

We will share guidance on what you need during the online orientation.
