Across the nation, we are celebrating the spirit of freedom today (August 15, 2017).
As part of our Independence day celebration, Team Everest NGO reached out to students across the country and ask them what they will do if they are the prime minister of the country.
We asked students to participate in an Essay and Drawing Competition with the theme ‘If I am the Prime Minister of India?’. Our target is to reach 10,000 students.
As of today, we have reached 20,103 students from 127 Schools across 7 States (Tamilnadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharastra, Gujrat, Uttarakhand), more than double the students we expected to reach!
To encourage maximum participation, we gave certificates to all participants and medals to winners during the Independence day celebration. We have overshoot our budget. If you wish to donate for certificates & medals, you can make a small donation here – www.bit.ly/id2017everest
