On Good Deeds Day (April 16), people across world come together to do good. Here's your chance to be part of a global movement.


For this Good Deeds Day, we are launching 'Holiday Puzzle Making.' If you love puzzle games, you will love doing this activity. You only have to create easy and fun puzzle games for children. You can volunteer from home or in person in Chennai or Bangalore. 


We will gift the puzzles you create to children. It will help children have a fun and productive holidays. 


Note: You need no prior experience. We will guide you!

Time Commitment

You can volunteer in person or virtual. In both scenarios, you just have to commit 2 to 3 hours to make the Holiday Puzzles.

Who can volunteer in this program?
  1. Anyone who is a graduate can volunteer in this activity.
What is the mode of volunteering?
  1. The Holiday Puzzle Making activity is happening in 2 modes. 
  2. 1 - Virtual: You can volunteer via Zoom meet. We will send the meeting link. 
  3. 2 - In Person: You can volunteer in person in Chennai or Bangalore.
Why Holiday Puzzle Making?

The summer holidays are coming up. We want to help children have a fun and productive holiday time. The puzzles you create will help children have a good time and increase their creativity as well. 

How does it work?

1. Please signup in the form given in this page.

2. Choose your mode of volunteering - Virtual or In Person.

3. Attend the event and do the activity. We will be there to guide you. 

4. Submit your activity and get your volunteering certificate. 

         a. Virtual: You will couriering the puzzles to address we will share.
         b. In Person: We will collect the puzzles. 

I am an NRI. Can I volunteer?

Absolutely yes. You can volunteer even if you live outside India. Please try couriering the puzzles to the address we will share. If not, you can design the puzzles in 1 page and upload it while submitting the Courier Confirmation form you will find in the handbook. We will color print the puzzles and distribute it to the children.

Will I get volunteering certificate?

Yes upon successfully completing the activity, you will get a volunteering e-certificate.

  1. College students are the beneficiaries.
What is the program structure?

You will have to do 13 phone call sessions. Each session is for 45 mins. Every session is broken into activities and games. 

Will I get any help from Team Everest?

Yes, we will conduct an online orientation to explain the activity and we will tag you with a student. We will also share a handbook that will have the teaching curriculum. 

What will happen in the session?

You need to read our handbook and conduct the activities listed in it over the normal phone call. Most of the activities will be a game which you will play with the student.

What is Orientation Recording?

 'Orientation Recording' is a recorded video of the online webinar that has been conducted to explain this activity in detail and to clarify all queries of the volunteers.

How can I watch the orientation recording?

Post your signup, you will receive the orientation recording link in email. Click on the link and please enter the requested basic information to watch the recording.

Why I should watch the orientation recording?

You can understand the activity clearly if you watch the orientation.

Handbook

What is a handbook?

A handbook is the activity material to help and guide you. It will have Program Information, Key Dates, FAQs, Instructions, Samples, and Useful links.

Where can I find the handbook?

Post the orientation, you will get the handbook link in email.

Should I conduct the sessions only by following the Volunteer Handbook?

Yes, please stick to the handbook. Because our dedicated curriculum team has carefully thought through and compiled the book that is appropriate for a student and aimed to achieve the program's intended goals.

Will I get a certificate?

On successful completion of the activity, you will get a volunteering e-certificate.
