What we do in Everest?
Team Everest is one of the biggest youth run NGOs in India. Our vision is to inspire everyone to volunteer. We make a difference by providing quality education to financially challenged children through volunteering.
I am the Change Scholarship
Many children drop out after school and don't go to college due to financial challenges. This number is high especially for parentless and Single parented students.
‘I am the change scholarship' is an initiative of Team Everest NGO through which we provide scholarship for single parented/parentless students who are good at academics, but are financially challenged to pursue graduation.
Till date, we have sponsored the education of 850 students for their graduation.
First Penguin Club
First Penguin Club (FPC) is a 100 hour Skill development training program for our scholars.
From Public speaking to Problem sloving, we teach all the essential employability skills to our students through FPC initiative.
Speak Out
An initiative where volunteers guide students through phone calls to improve their English communication skills through 1-to-1 conversation.
The idea behind speak out is that when students practice English daily, they can improve on it!
Smile 100
Smile 100 is a Scholarship Program for 100 Parentless & Single Parented kids who are from a place called ‘Arni’ in Tiruvannamalai Dt, Tamil Nadu, India.
We sponsor the school fees for these children, provide free evening tuition for them, and conduct various extracurricular activities like Winter, Summer camps, games day on weekends, art day and much more.
The motive behind Smile 100 is to provide quality education to kids who could not afford it. Our goal is to sponsor them till they finish formal education and help them become entrepreneurs or find a job for themselves.
Corporate Social Responsibility
We work with Corporates, SMBs & Startups to create a culture of volunteering & giving within the organization.
We help setup CSR from scratch, provide strategic inputs for CSR, help in driving employee volunteering program and help as project implementation partner.
Walk to Cycle
Many rural students walk more than 3 km a day to attend school. We want to change this situation of the children by gifting them a cycle.
We have gifted bicycles to more than 750 students so far and help them reach home soon.
Back to School
Back to School is our annual initiative as part of which we give ‘School Kit’ to rural kids.
The School kit consists of school bag, notebooks, uniforms, shoes and all other items as per the child needs for attending school.
Gift a Child
Gifts gifted with love can turn any ordinary day into a special occasion.
Gift a Child is our annual initiative through which we fulfil the little wishes of children with individual donor's help and support from Corporates.
We get the wish list from Children and find sponsors to fulfil their little wishes.
Diwali for All
We want everyone in our society to celebrate Diwali, hence 'Diwali for All.'
Every year, during Diwali, we gift a new dress to many underprivileged and help them celebrate Diwali. Our beneficiaries include parent-less, single-parented, tribal, rural, visually challenged, differently-abled, homeless kids, and senior citizens in old age home.
