You will get 45 days to complete 30 calls with a student. Each call is for 30 Mins.


We will be doing an online orientation to explain the activity in detail and address all your queries. 


It's mandatory to attend the orientation to be part of this program.

What is Speak Out?

Speak Out is an English training program for college students over normal phone calls to improve their communication and English skills. 


Why Speak Out?
Most companies expect an employee who can speak well in English. Unfortunately, many college students lack English speaking skills. Speak Out helps such students to overcome their fear and help them improve their English speaking skills.
What happens in Speak Out?

We will tag each volunteer with a student. Volunteer needs to conduct 30 phone call sessions in 45 days and mark attendance after every call. Each call is just 30 mins. 

Why there is 45 days of time to complete 30 phone call sessions?

We recommend volunteers to complete 30 sessions by having a call every day. However, there might be unavoidable circumstances for volunteers & students, so we have given extra 15 days as a buffer time to compensate the missed sessions.

Who are the beneficiaries?

The beneficiaries of the Speak Out program are our 'I am the Change' scholarship students.

What is 'I am the Change' scholarship students?

'I am the Change' is a scholarship initiative by Team Everest. Through it, Team Everest sponsors the under graduation of underprivileged students. You can learn more about it here.

What these students are studying?

They are doing their under graduation course in various colleges in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Madurai.

Which degrees these students are pursuing?

Our students will be from Arts, Engineering, Medical, or Law.

Which college year these students are from?

The students for this batch's Speak Out are from first, second, and third year.

How will I know my beneficiary details?

We will email you your student's details along with the volunteer handbook link post your participation confirmation after the orientation.

Can I drop out in the middle of the program?
